The AZ Medicare for All Coalition has about 1300 individual members across the state and 12 affiliated community organizations in the Coalition. The AZ Medicare for All Coalition is part of the National Campaign to Win Medicare for All spearheaded by National Nurses United and other national organizations. The AZ Medicare for All Coalition offers itself as a media resource for the facts about the reality of healthcare today and what Improved and Expanded Medicare for All would mean for tomorrow.

Derechos Humanos is a grassroots organization that promotes the human and civil rights of all migrants regardless of their immigration status. Consequently, we fight the militarization of our southern border home and combat the discrimination and human rights abuses of both our citizen and non-citizen brothers and sisters.

We are a collaborative formed in September of 2025 consisting of U of A activist groups and local community members providing actionable steps towards a surveillance-free existence at the University and throughout the County of Pima and surrounding areas. Democracy Unites Us (DUU) is an unaffiliated, non-partisan group of Tucson citizens that organized the eight Tesla protests, the No Kings Motor March, and several other actions. We coordinate our efforts with other resistance groups for maximum impact. We insist that those who join DUU will only participate in peaceful, non-violent actions and will do what they can to preserve our Democracy and Rule of Law for future generations of Americans.

Since then, GTAG has offered nonviolence/direct action trainings to Tucson activists and facilitated the formation of affinity groups to resist Trump’s authoritarian takeover attempts, as well as neighborhood Migra Watch groups to respond to ICE’s attempted kidnappings.

For starters, singing evokes an emotional response from the soul and feels good in your body. Singing in a group gives you the sense that your voice matters for the larger whole. It’s a real, proven resistance strategy against violent forces. This is a crucial strategy and one of many that should be employed in times of violent occupation. We need your voice!

The Tucson Peace Center supports the movements for Peace, Social Justice, Environmental Justice, and Labor Equity. Among other things, we publish a print version of the Tucson Peace Calendar, maintain an online Calendar, and host an annual Tucson Peace Fair and Music Festival.
