Singing Resistance Tucson - Weekly Practice

Location:

Unitarian Universalist Church

4831 E 22nd St
Tucson, AZ 85711

Organizer: Singing Resistance Tucson

Singing Resistance Tucson is meeting every Sunday from 4 – 5:30 pm at the Unitarian Church at 4831 E. 22nd St.

Come join us!

Singing Resistance, a musical grassroots collective launched in Minneapolis, gathers song leaders and singers to sing out in the face of fascism.

Why sing? For starters, singing immediately evokes an emotional response from the soul and just feels good in your body. When you sing in a group, it gives you the sense that your voice matters for the larger whole – and it does!

Singing Resistance is a mass movement of singers across the U.S.

It’s a proven (and fun) resistance strategy!

Peaceful resistance singing is just one strategy of many that should be employed in times of violent occupation, but it’s a crucial one that should not be overlooked.

We want your voice!
